Our next adventure has begun.
We left the snow-filled city for this sunshine-filled town. We’ve been on countless walks (with short sleeves and flops!) around the neighborhood and to the park. And even a trip to explore our beach! In January! It’s almost confusing, all this warmth and sunshine.
I have no idea what I’m going to do with all of my (mostly cold-weather-appropriate) clothes.
Poor Millie caught a pretty nasty cold/cough upon our arrival. Even with all of this extra Vitamin D exposure, it’s still wreaking havoc on her little body. She has her first fever and first real cough cough (she’s been using an occasional fake cough for months). Sick babies are the saddest!
So here we are. Getting settled(ish) and trying to get healthy as we wait for the truck filled with all of our earthly possessions to arrive. Anxious to spread our roots and make this bright spot our home.
