Some things:
• This morning Millie found these (still too big) shoes under her dresser and insisted on wearing them. She ran up and down the hall yelling and then insisted I take them off. Why would I buy shoes with laces for a toddler?
• Lately she’s been interested in trying and even eating new things. I can’t explain how exciting this is to me. Meal time has always been hit or miss in our house so watching her eat everything on her plate and then ask for more and using actual words to tell me what she wants (rice! Hum! (for hummus) gapes! (grapes)) is making my life right now. LIFE!
• There are a couple of little girls at the gym that are OBSESSED with the little. It’s real cute. But today they asked me if they could BUY her. Um, not for sale.
• She is talking so much lately and it’s just so fun to hear her little voice. I can’t always understand what she’s trying to say at first but she usually does a good job of explaining it to her old mummy (what she calls me these days).
• I cannot believe that we’re sitting here mid-December and knocking on the door of 2012. Exciting and scary and dudes time is flying!
