It’s a sad, sad day when your “special treat” is your leftover prenatal morning sickness gummy vitamin. Just saying.

week sixteen: b+w edition

{Sorry, Mills. I’m just proud.}

{He moves a LOT. Especially when he smiles big smiles. Thus we get blurry photos. I’ll take it.}

{Yes, she crashed into that bench.}

15 of 52: Chicago Style

Oh, Chicago. We love you. We love your magic. We love your energy. We love your food. We love your creativity. We love your options. We love your Cubs. We love your music. We love your style. We love your opportunities. We love your familiarity. We love your progressiveness. We love your spirit. And we especially love the people you hold. But we do not love your so-called spring weather. No, we don’t love that at all. We barely went outside at all the entire week. Thanks for that. Good thing our love runs deep. Because we really do love you always and forever.

A bubbles-on-the-front-porch kinda morning. #welovespring

These two are becoming the best of friends. If Wyatt is being a fuss-face, I just put Millie in front of him so he can watch her and she’s like magic. She loves him “so much,” as she likes to tell me. I’m more than thankful to hear and see this relationship develop.

That’s not to say we never have moments of roughness and frequent reminders to be gentle.

She really adores him. And he her. And that is like the best gift ever.

Sweet little man {going BLUE}.

So smitten.

It felt good to get that off my chest last week. Thankfully, things have been smoother this week. I wouldn’t go so far as to say life is all-of-a-sudden easy, but it’s most definitely more manageable. Or at least it feels that way at this moment. We’ve had some decent rest, some good naps, and some cooperative behavior. Good thing because I was about to book a one-way ticket to ANYWHEREELSEVILLE.
