Beach day.
Watermelon on the front porch.
Alls I got.
Happy Mothers Day people!
Evening walk.
Things my child has said/done today:
- “Stop talking with your mouth!” Nice.
- “Help me!” Immediately followed by an intensely frustrated, “I do it!” Fine!
- “My boobies.”
- Pinched the hell out of my arm, smiled, and then said “no pinching.”
- “Get up. Get up. Get up.” etc, etc while not napping for 2 hours.
- “Read this. Do this. Need this.” And repeat.
- “All dirty mama. I clean it.” While using a washcloth and cleaning UNDER the seat of her chair. Okay.
- I have my sewing machine set up on the table and plugged into the wall and she refuses to step over the cord like a regular person and instead goes all the way around the other side to avoid it. “Don’t like that.”
- In the bath she calls washcloths her wash towels.
- “I sorry, mama.” Sweet but mostly sneaky.
- “Run errands!”
- Whenever I am eating ANYTHING, she saddles up beside me, smiles brightly and asks, “have some of that, mama?” Duh.
- “How about…three books/three games/three songs?” Always negotiating.
- “What’s in there?”
- “That’s a mango/my baby/my book/my sunscreen/my bowl/the mailman/the subie/blueberries”
- “What’s that?”
- “What’s that?”
- “What’s that?”
The end.
Coloring is so exhausting. “Circles” are her new fave.
Her outfit choice. Head to toe. SWEAR.
{Those are supposed to be bloomers.}
Business in the front, party town in the back is an understatement. So major.
She loves helping her daddyO in the backyard.
It has rarely rained since we moved here, but it’s raining now. This picture is just to remind myself of the typically beautiful sunshiney days. And that this gorgeous bush is probably rejoicing for the showers.
